Visitor Center Coordinator

The Raton Chamber welcomes Caleb Bradley to Raton, New Mexico and his position as the new Visitor Information Center Coordinator.

Caleb will be responsible for coordinating volunteers and activities at the Visitor Information Center as well as welcoming visitors to the center and providing them with information about Raton and the rest of New Mexico and the region.

Caleb originally comes from the not-so-small city of Conroe, Texas, 40 minutes outside the city of Houston. He came to Raton in search of a change of pace, better weather, and to be closer to some of his closest friends. Upon arriving in Raton, he fell in love with the scenery, the small-town atmosphere, and the friendly people. Sensing the town’s desire to grow and prosper, and learning about the position at the VIC, Caleb applied for the position of VIC Coordinator and was ultimately hired.

The Chamber looks forward to Caleb providing a friendly smile and welcoming atmosphere at the VIC as well as information about our area that will encourage visitors to spend a day, a week, or a lifetime in Raton.

PennySue Kuhns, the new weekend staff member at the Visitor Information Center had served as a volunteer for many months prior to being hired by the Chamber to cover the weekends.

PennySue will be on site at the Visitor Information Center to greet visitors to Raton on Friday afternoons, all day Saturday, and on Sunday afternoons. As a long-time resident of Raton, she is a welcome addition to our staff and will be provide a knowledge of our area that will certainly enhance our visitors’ experience during their stop in Raton.
