Colfax Senior Living is a unique retirement community providing a variety of living options for seniors living in the North East Region of New Mexico. These options include independent living, assisted living and supportive living, all located on our peaceful, beautifully landscaped campus setting in Raton, New Mexico. In addition, we offer specialized Memory Care services to meet the needs of those with Alzheimer’s and other dementias in a separate, safe and secure environment.

We plan to develop and build a community with 4 independent living apartments adjacent to a new 6,500 square foot Assisted Living Facility. Our residents will enjoy a full array of services which include all utilities, television and internet, housekeeping, 24 -hour indoor and outdoor maintenance, technical support, landscaping, several meal options, a variety of educational, recreational and fitness programming, and local transportation services.

The goal for our community is to be the premier retirement community in Northern New Mexico. We will offer several levels of care on one campus and once an individual or couple makes the decision to become residents of Colfax Senior Living community, they will have the option to remain in their home and receive care as their needs increase. Our goal is to help residents remain independent and active as long as possible, while offering a range of services which will support and meet any challenges that may arise. By striving to meet this goal daily, we will enhance the joy of senior living in Northern New Mexico.

There will be several levels of service provided to our residents depending on their current and anticipated needs, ranging from the totally independent senior living in one of our beautiful garden apartment homes to the assisted living facility resident needing 24 hours a day of care. Apartment rentals include all utilities, 24 hour maintenance, housekeeping, transportation and the option to join others for dining in the dining hall. Supportive services offered to the apartment residents will be offered on-demand and include emergency assistance, helping with dressing, bathing, preparing meals, medication assistance, and other services as needed to remain safe and comfortable in the home. Residents in the apartments will also have priority admission status if and when the need arises for increased care in the assisted living home. An intercom system will allow apartment residents to communicate at any time with community staff who are close by and on duty 24/7.

The owner and operator of Colfax Senior Living is Debbie Gabriele. She is a successful owner, operator and developer of senior living properties with 20 years of experience in this field. Licensed in both Texas and New Mexico as a Long Term Care Facility Administrator, Debbie holds a B.S. in Medical Technology and an M.B.A. from Texas Woman's University.
